My three earlier books are all long out of print, and I have so many new things to tell people, so it's definitely time for another book. It's provisionally entitled On Talking to Debtors. It's largely about how to collect money over the phone. In particular, I'm looking at the most relevant research from the social sciences - linguistics, sociology, anthropology, education, psychology, etc - and how businesses and individual credit staff can apply it, illustrated, where possible, with examples from real life. I hope to have it out by the end of the year or shortly into the New Year.
